Hi everyone! I’m David Madrid, a Data Engineer at Baptist Health. My primary work involves designing and building databases in Google BigQuery to support clinical and operational analytics. I also develop and maintain data pipelines, optimize SQL queries, and ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery across the organization.

I work closely with Epic Clarity and Caboodle data models and support reporting teams by providing clean, scalable data solutions. I’m certified in both the Epic Clarity and Caboodle Data Models, and I regularly use tools like SQL Server, BigQuery, and Tableau.

My partner works in healthcare, though she isn’t on the analytics side, she talks a lot about Epic. It sounds like a very interesting system to work in.
