I remember in my first project, new to the team, my task was very basic because my Tableau skills were rusty at the time, and I messed up everything on the dashboard since it involved changes to the dashboard. My manager gave me some grace, and luckily, this was in UAT, not production.
Documentation is very important, and I always document my changes because I know future analysts will appreciate it.

That sounds like a great manager and a good experience to learn from. Also a good reminder to document everything & have a UAT/dev environment … it’s shocking to me sometimes how many teams just push stuff to prod
