After having had poor success in my data journey the previous six years and examining some robust portfolios online by those who have successfully landed their first role, it was probably evident my old portfolio was not very strong.
I have previously been hosting my portfolio on the Maven Analytics site, but after having gotten some critical feedback by Matt Mike, Kedeisha Bryan, and a few others already in the field, they suggested that I specifically have my own site. One big reason noted was having a bunch of links to different parts of their website while not having easy to find links to where people can access my GitHub and Tableau.
I have since moved my portfolio to Canva. This is a work in progress and am currently working on my first portfolio project. I will be continuously updating the site. My first project is reusing a dataset I had used prior for an SQL project, but this time diving deeper into more realistic business challenges thereby requiring more complex queries.
